Christian Medical Fellowship welcomes medical and law students and interested doctors and lawyers to a presentation by the Care Alliance.
The Care Alliance brings together organisations and individuals who want to nurture better conversations about dying in Aotearoa New Zealand. Care Alliance members come from many different backgrounds, interests, and experiences. While we might not agree with each other on other issues, we share an understanding that a compassionate and ethical response to suffering does not include euthanasia and assisted suicide.
Sinead Connelly (Palliative Care Physician) and Professor Peter Thirkell (Secretary of Care Alliance) will speak and answer questions on issues of death, good end of life care and the proposed law changes around euthanasia/assisted dying.
    When: 26th March 7-9pm
Where: Wellington Medical School Small Lecture Theatre, Mein St Newtown.
Cost: Waged $5, students koha (to cover costs)
You can pay at or pay at the event on the night. All donations very welcome!
We’d love to invite Christian lawyers and law students as this issue will impact on both our professions. We would be most grateful if you could circulate the information below through your networks.
