    Conference 2016 Programme

    Student Preconference

A time for students who are at different stages of medical and dental school to meet and share the unique challenges and joys that come with this time of learning.  We will have time to hear the main conference speakers as well as hearing about students' and graduates' experiences during overseas electives or mission trips.      Saline Process Training

    Saline_Process.png

Christians are called to be 'the salt of the earth' flavouring life with grace and truth.  Saline Process is an eight hour course running on Thursday evening and all day Friday to help Christian healthcare professionals bring Christ into every day work.  This course helps people who work in healthcare recognise God-given opportunities to demonstrate Christian love and address the needs of the whole person.  All healthcare professionals and students are welcome to attend.  At this course we are honoured to have as our lead presenter Dr Gábor Győri  from Hungary who is the Director for Ministry of IHS Global, the body that oversees and supports Saline Process courses around the world.  He will be joined by two NZ trainers.

To register scroll to the bottom of our conference 2016 event page.  Buy a 'Day Conference' ticket ($140 graduates, $45 students as graduates help to subsidise students!).  This can be bought alone or in combination with tickets for the remainder of the conference.

This fee, our one day rate for conference, covers the course and workbook, morning and afternoon tea and lunch on Friday.  Dinner is available on Thursday night for an additional $12 and accommodation is available on Thursday night (inclusive of breakfast on Friday morning) for an additional $30 (bring your own bedding).  Both dinner and accommodation (with breakfast) will cost an additional $42.

Once your registration has been received, our administrator will contact you by e-mail to clarify which event is being booked and whether Thursday night dinner, and/or Thursday night accommodation (plus breakfast) is required.

    Main Conference

CMF New Zealand & ICMDA Oceania warmly invite you to our combined 2016 National and Regional Conference in Auckland, New Zealand. Entitled ‘On The Way’ the conference will explore aspects of the life-long journey of knowing Christ and, in particular, weathering the unique challenges we face in our profession and the different communities we each serve. Our speakers will not only be sharing some of their own stories from their journey thus far but also help tease out how we can bring Christ’s light into every aspect of our daily lives. We hope this time together will encourage, inspire and brighten up your faith journey as we continue to serve together as citizens of this world, the Pacific and, most importantly, as citizens of God’s Kingdom.

    Philippians 3 vs 12-14:

“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward – to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back."
