Your CMFnz Board is seeking a brief indicative response from you via this poll question.

In order to comply with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 we updated our constitution in 2024.  Specific changes that brought it into line with the Act were ratified at our last AGM.

You may recall we also put to the membership a proposal to invite Christian Dentists to join CMFnz as full members and dental students as student members.  This proposal was postponed with a commitment that we would consult with our members leading up to the next AGM.

There are a few reasons to put this proposal forward:

1. A few Christian dentists have approached CMFnz and requested this be considered.

2. The international group we come under is the International Medical and Dental Christian Fellowship so this step aligns with that.

3. Christian Dentists are small in number, and so opening our organisation to fully include them is a way of support where running a separate organisation is not feasible.

I would encourage you to consider this, let me know for the Board your indicative opinion - a simple ‘yes’ or ’no’. If you have additional comments or questions please also feel free to briefly note these in an email to: [email protected]
