Saline Process - Auckland

Saturday 14 November 8.45am - 5pm
Greenlane Christian Centre, 17 Marewa Road, Greenlane

The Saline Process is a witness training designed to equip and mobilise Christian healthcare workers as witnesses of the love and reality of Jesus in their place of work.

Saline was developed, and is supported by IHS Global (www.ihsglobal.org/about) and is suitable for any healthcare staff who have contact with patients, not just doctors and nurses. The training provides practical tools to help a Christian be 'salt', 'light' and a witness of Jesus in healthcare, all with permission, sensitivity and respect. In a friendly, fun and informative workshop format we will address five main questions:

  • Why is faith important to healthcare?
  • What are the opportunities and barriers to fulfilling God's call?
  • What is my role?
  • What are the tools I can use to cultivate, sow and harvest?
  • Where do we go from here?

This training will be led and supported by Dr Glennis Mafi (retired GP), Angela Clark (RN) and Dr Micheline Naidu (GP) with Callum Hammond and Thealyssa Ng (final year medical students). It is offered by CMFnz in partnership with Nurses Christian Fellowship of New Zealand (NCFNZ) and Healthcare Christian Fellowship NZ.

Registration includes the Saline Process Training workbook, an invitation to join the international online platform and a local WhatsApp support group. Refreshments and lunch provided.

For all questions about registrations, contact [email protected]. For questions about the training, contact Thealyssa Ng [email protected].

Register today! And pray that Covid-19 won't scupper this workshop - this is God's work!!
