Saline Process - Christchurch

Saline Process Witness Training
 Saturday 24th July 2021, 8.30am - 5pm
The Well Church, 364 Colombo Street, Christchurch

Registrations have now closed for this workshop - to express interest in future Saline Trainings contact [email protected].

The Saline Process is a witness training designed to equip and mobilise Christian healthcare workers as witnesses of the love and reality of Jesus in their place of work, all with permission, sensitivity and respect. Saline was developed and is supported by IHS Global www.ihsglobal.org/about and is suitable for any healthcare staff who have contact with patients, not just doctors and nurses. CMFnz offers the training in partnership with the Nurses Christian Fellowship of New Zealand: NCFNZ.

We will spend time together in a friendly, fun and informative workshop format to address five main questions:

  • Why is faith important to healthcare?
  • What are the opportunities and barriers to fulfilling God's call?
  • What is my role?
  • What are the tools I can use to cultivate, sow and harvest?
  • Where do we go from here?

This training will be led and supported by Dr Flora Gastrell (Nelson) and Dr Keith Carey-Smith (Hawke's Bay).

Registration includes the Saline Process Training workbook and an opportunity to join the international online platform and a local WhatsApp support group. Refreshments and lunch provided.

Note that ‘Student / Low waged’ registration fees are offered below cost - please consider if you are able to give in support of CMFnz’s Saline Training ministry in New Zealand and to subsidise students and low waged healthcare workers to attend Saline Training. Thank you for your support!
