We welcome medical and law students and interested doctors and lawyers to a presentation by the Care Alliance.
The Care Alliance brings together organisations and individuals who want to nurture better conversations about dying in Aotearoa New Zealand. Care Alliance members come from many different backgrounds, interests, and experiences, and we share an understanding that a compassionate and ethical response to suffering does not include euthanasia and assisted suicide.
Palliative Care Physician, Sinead Connelly and Professor Peter Thirkell will speak and answer questions on issues of death, good end of life care and the proposed law changes around euthanasia/assisted dying.
